Why We Create Jewelry for the Sacred Feminine Journey
I created Sainte-Foy from a recognition that the feminine spiritual journey is both deeply personal and quietly shared.
To move through life as a woman is to hold a vast interior landscape, shaped by evolution and stillness, strength and softness, grief, joy, intuition, and renewal. These experiences rarely unfold in a linear way, nor can they always be fully articulated. Most often, they are felt, held and carried forward over time.
It is within this understanding that I create each design, honoring those experiences with symbols and relics in shimmering jewel form, able to hold each chapter and reflect back to us the stories of our lives.
The Interior Landscape
To move through life as a woman is to move in cycles with periods of expansion, stillness and return. Moments of clarity that often arrive slowly, but occasionally suddenly. It is a rhythm with an antediluvian familiarity in it and a connection to the natural world that feels instinctive. For our spring photoshoot, fields and meadows are not simply the setting, but a reflection of an interior state. A natural space where women can feel aligned with the vastness of God's power, possibility, and their part in the landscape of the physical realm.
In Botticelli’s rendering of the Hora of Spring, she stands within this moment of transition, not arriving, not departing, but becoming. There is no urgency in her movement, only a quiet certainty that change is already underway.
Objects of Devotion
Because our most sacred transitions are often quiet and internal, we create jewelry that can bear witness to them and represent them, translating the unseen elements of faith, memory, and devotion into something that can be held and worn.
At Sainte-Foy, we are captivated by symbols that have endured across centuries. The cross, the pearl, the repeated form - not as ornament, but as language. Just as the sacred reliquaries of France were built to protect what was most precious, we believe a woman’s jewelry should serve as a modern vessel for her own sacred purpose.
Each piece is designed with intention to gather meaning through the seasons of evolution and quiet perseverance. More than self-expression, they are anchors of faith and symbols of the spiritual journey.
