For our first Tome entry we're chatting with Emily Singer, the founder of Elsi, a creative agency and production studio immersed in storytelling, authenticity, and groundbreaking beauty. Recently returning from the sunlit stillness of Mallorca, she shared with us reflections on her spiritual journey — a path shaped by intuition, ritual, and inner light.

What does spirituality mean to you in your own words?

To me, spirituality is all about my connection with God, the universe, and myself. It’s that quiet knowing that we are all part of something bigger—something divine. I feel most connected when I’m in tune with my inner world, trusting that everything is unfolding just as it’s meant to. Being spiritual, to me, is about living with intention, staying present, and remembering that we're all part of a bigger plan.

Which practices or beliefs anchor you during times of uncertainty or growth?

During times of uncertainty or growth, I utilize meditation, prayer, and grounding practices to stay present and rooted in my own intuition, guidance, and truth. I always try to remind myself that everything is temporary - the good and the bad. Everything is ever-changing and it's important to stay still in the moment. To have gratitude for the most important things— time and health.

What drew you to these specific pieces from our collection and how do you feel when you wear them - energetically, emotionally, or spiritually?

I was especially drawn to the Margaux Baroque Pearl Earrings because the ocean is a part of who I am at my core. Growing up in California, near water, I was always mesmerized by its beauty and calming, grounding nature. I also love the Celestial Prayer Ring, it's absolutely gorgeous, and reminds me that I am powerful. When I wear Sainte-Foy, I feel energetically grounded, easeful, and connected to the Earth and to myself.

In what ways does wearing symbolic jewelry help you stay aligned throughout the day?

Every time I look down at the Celestial Prayer Ring, for instance, I am reminded that I am made of stardust. That the universe is always supporting my growth and my grounding. Symbolic jewelry feels like a gentle, beautiful reminder to believe in yourself, to trust in God’s plan for you, and to be fully where you are—because soon enough, it’ll change.
